A continuation of the events of Ryu Ga Gotoku 7. It stars Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu as dual protagonists. The game features an open world focusing on port district Isezaki Ijincho, Yokohama, a fictionalized Isezakicho, Yokohama; red-light district Kamurocho, Tokyo, a fictionalized Kabukicho, Tokyo; and a fictionalized version of Honolulu, Hawaii.
