Known as “Adrenalin Misfits” outside Japan, is a downhill racing game designed for the Kinect peripheral in which anthropomorphic animal characters race “crossboards” – boards that can cross snow, water, and everything else. Moving through the game unlocks new courses, racers and boards. Players can also use their gamer profile avatar in-game. The controls are completely motion-based: players tilt their body to the side to turn, forward to accelerate and jump to jump. In mid-air, twisting the body launches tricks while stretching out the arms performs a glide. The courses also include power items (speed boosts, weapons, and special moves) that once picked up can be fired by stomping the foot.
