An upgraded version of Densha de GO! 2, released by Taito in August 1998. This version features extensions to existing routes, as well as the addition of new routes and train models. Unlike the original PlayStation version, this release is a direct port from the arcade version, meaning the train operator’s voice remains the same as in the first Densha de GO!. With the increase in courses, the game is now divided into five route groups: Hokuriku Route, Tohoku Route, Kanto Route, Kansai Route, and a hidden Tohoku Route.
