The third entry in the Kunio-kun series. The game was released on April 25, 1989 in Japan for the Family Computer and was the first game that Technōs Japan made exclusively for the console market, preceding Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun and Nekketsu Kōkō Dodgeball Bu. The game was highly successful in Japan. The graphical look of the game was used in subsequent Kunio-kun games by the company on the system.
