Based on the Dragon Ball manga and anime series, Super Butoden 3 is the third installment of the Super Butoden series of fighting games (and the last in the original trilogy). Building upon the gameplay engine and graphical style of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2, it brings the series to the “Majin Buu Saga” arc of the Dragon Ball Z storyline (set seven years after the events of Super Butoden 2), where the evil wizard Babidi resurrects the monster Majin Buu (after possessing some warriors, such as Vegeta).
