Five hundred years after Wein and friends defeated the evil that plagued the divided continent of Legendra, evil predictably prepares to reveal its blackened head once more. The land is becoming overrun with mysterious dark knights once again, alerting the game’s eight new protagonists to the coming storm. Just as before, you select one of Legendra’s eight rulers and gather support from the other seven to quash the evil upswelling.

Dragon Force II: Kami Sarishi Daichi ni (“The Godforsaken Land”) is the sequel to Dragon Force for the Sega Saturn. Like its predecessor, it is a Real-Time Strategy game involving war among eight nations of the continent of Legendra, with gameplay split between administrative mode and campaign mode. However, there are various new elements, such as Item Crafting, Generals commanding two types of Troops at once, and new types of Troops such as Robots.
