The player first needs to obtain a license to pilot an F-16. This licensing process serves as a tutorial, teaching essential controls such as taxiing, takeoff, turning, landing, air-to-air combat, and air-to-ground weapon usage. After obtaining the license, the player takes on the role of an air force soldier tasked with suppressing terrorism and coups. As the game progresses, new aircraft become available, some featuring special functions like stealth technology or vertical takeoff and landing. However, operating these advanced aircraft also requires obtaining additional licenses, which explain the use of new weapons and features. As a bonus for progressing through the game, players can unlock real-life aircraft footage provided by collaborating manufacturers.
