Getter Robo Daikessen is an anime-based strategy game that includes every Getter produced by the time of its release. The battle system is basically the same as the Super Robot series, but in the case of this work, if you do not select “Avoid” in the command selection of the attacked side, you will definitely hit and receive damage. In the case of evasion, only Getter Robo activates Open Get with a certain probability, but if you attack from your own machine, you will always be damaged if you receive a counterattack. Therefore, the main unit is almost capable of MAP attacks, and it is an important strategy element to attack without receiving damage (however, it is impossible to fire because it consumes a lot of energy). All battle animations are displayed in 3DCG polygons, and some scenarios include animation demos.

The main character cannot board as a Getter Robo pilot immediately after the start, but it will be possible to board by passing the Getter Robo coalescence simulation performed in the intermission. This simulation is performed from the beginning with a monotone true getter robo, and the level goes up by successfully combining in time under the specified conditions. You must pass a more difficult simulation to appear in the new Getter Robo that will be added as the game progresses. However, pilots other than the main character can freely switch to Getter Robo. In addition, super robot pilots from each country who appeared in Getter Robo Go, which will be added later, can also board the getter freely (except for Getter Robo Go, which will be described later).
