Ginga Eiyū Densetsu or “Legend of the Galactic Heroes” is a description of the game software based on Yoshiki Tanaka’s novel “Ginga Eiyū Densetsu”. A series of war simulation games was serialized by Bothtec, with many releases primarily on PC.

This is the third installment of the PC game series. The game system shifted from the traditional scenario-clearing type to a territorial takeover type. A map of the entire Empire and Alliance was provided, allowing players to freely invade it based on their decisions. Additionally, elements such as support rates in each star region and economic development (military-industrial complex) were added. The scenario/program expansion version of the aforementioned third game with changes in systems such as fortress cannon firing and beam range restrictions was also introduced.
