The player can freely move around the city where delinquents roam, and the system allows them to progress through the main story by going to specific locations. In the city, players can shop, take on part-time jobs, and participate in mini-games like helping people or romantic events. The story and events have several branching points, but it’s mentioned in the included manual that it’s not possible to see all of these in one playthrough, and replaying the game multiple times is assumed.

On the screen, parameters such as “Health,” “Stamina,” “Spirit,” and “Charisma” are displayed. “Health” decreases when taking damage in fights and leads to a game over if it reaches zero, returning to the title screen. “Stamina” also decreases when taking damage, and the maximum health that can be restored with items decreases. “Spirit” is necessary to use techniques like the “Menchibeam” and “Roar,” and lost spirit can be recovered by performing the “poop squat.” “Charisma” represents “manliness” and changes based on the player’s actions in the game (explained later). Also, running displays a heart icon on the screen, and if it changes from red to blue due to running too much, the player will get out of breath and become temporarily unable to act.
