The story takes place 7 years after the first game, up to 4 players can play simultaneously in 2 vs 2 battles. A new Hyper Combo system is added, allow two players to execute dual attacks. There are more than 15 playable characters, and certain ones (such as Z Gundam) can transform in the middle of the battle.
