An action game published by Bandai for the Sega Saturn, based upon the Mobile Suit Z Gundam anime series. A general side-scrolling shooting game, where players can only attack the enemy in two-dimensional directions up, down, left, and right, but this work shows that the enemy can be seen from the back and front of the screen on place where players Gundam is. Although the normal attack does not hit the enemies in the back and front of the screen, it is possible to deal with a “new type attack” in which multiple enemies are locked on by pushing the buttons and pushing at once. As the game progresses, the number that can be locked will grow.

This game is the first part of two parts story on Sega Saturn Zeta Gundam game. The scenario is based on the TV series version, from Camille stole Gundam Mk-II and use it as his mobile suit for the first time until he get Zeta Gundam as his new mobile suit for the first time.
