The setting is the WGP arc. The protagonist (an original character with selectable gender) becomes the sixth racer for the TRF Victories and progresses through the WGP. The dedicated machine is an improved version of the then-state-of-the-art Beat Magnum, called the Beat Magnum TRF (other Victories machines are also selectable). Go uses the Cyclone Magnum, Retsu uses the Hurricane Sonic, and Fukuji continues to use the Spin Cobra (in street races, Go uses the Victory Magnum, Retsu uses the Vanguard Sonic, and Fukuji uses the Spin Axe). While you can set up the machine, you cannot control it directly. However, by repeatedly pressing buttons to fill a gauge, you can unleash special techniques like the “Magnum Tornado” when the gauge is full, allowing some degree of race intervention similar to the original series.

Unlike the anime, the race involves selecting three members from the team instead of racing with all five. The determination of the champion is also different from the anime; it is decided by a final race between the top two teams instead of a final stage with the top four teams. The opponents vary depending on the number of parts (totaling 35) collected by Chapter 9: Astro Rangers (32 or more), Eisen Wolf (26 to 31), or Hikari Scorpion (25 or less).

More than 26 machines from the original series and WGP, including hidden machines, appear. Pre-order purchasers received a Beat Magnum TRF (Hyper Heat version) body as a gift, which was later released as a product (with a different sticker design on the wing part compared to the pre-order version featuring the Victories logo) and appeared in the MAX arc of the original series. The non-credit opening of the WGP anime (GET THE WORLD) is included. The commercial narration is done by Mini 4 Fighter (voiced by Shotaro Morikubo).
