A side-scrolling beat ’em up game developed and published by Jaleco for the Super Famicom in 1992. It is the second game in the Rushing Beat series. Player has to walk sideways and fight bad guys for several stages. Next to the general food-health supplies, the player can also pick up weapons like sticks, guns, grenades and such. A special “Angry Mode” gives injured fighters a burst of energy. Set an interminable amount of time after the first game, Rick Norton and Douglas Bild now apparently run a gym, though whether or not they’ve retired from the police force is ambiguous. This time around, an enigmatic mad scientist known as Iceman unleashes an army of clones onto the land from atop his airship “Adler.”
