The port of Samurai on Sony PlayStation 2 with the addition of an Ad-hoc versus mode, players could now engage in communication battles using their favorite characters. Additionally, special footage was included ahead of the release of the PlayStation 3 exclusive game Samurai Dou 3, along with the addition of the main character from that game. The number of swords increased significantly, with over 20 additional swords making it a total of 60, and other events were expanded while the opening sequence was recreated. As a bonus, the old opening was also included.

While the characters in this game have voice actors assigned to them, it’s not fully voiced. Instead, they have battle cries, groans, and screams. Some of these characters also appear in sequels or other games produced by Acquire.
