After various multi platform releases, Bandai’s popular Gundam series finally arrives on Nintendo DS. SD Gundam G Generation DS features over 230 characters from 20 anime series such as MSV and Seed. Taking advantage of the dual screen, the game uses the top screen for battle and field scenes and the bottom touch pannel for maps and status display. Several new features not present in the GBA version of the game have now been implemented, such as additional attacks and power boost if the characters’ compatible rate is higher. Further you can now make an an ultimate all team attack, which consumes every character’s SP for a powerful all to one attack. The battles itself are turn based, each unit consists of 2 or 3 characters and up to 3 characters can battle at once. SD Gundam G Generation DS includes more stages compared to previous ports.
