The first PlayStation 2 installment in Sunrise Interactive’s long-running dinky mecha battle series. In proper realtime 3D for the first time, this game (not to be confused with Banpresto’s Super Robot Wars strategy series) presents nonstop turn-based combat between the mecha of Sunrise’s many Gundam animation series. The G Generation series features less crossover mayhem than SRW, but makes up for that with a heavier combat emphasis and more specific appeal to the Gundam fanbase.
