A simulation game released from Game Arts, which was based on the Japan Warring States period. It has a high degree of difficulty, but boasts a strong popularity due to its strategic nature. There are four types of scenarios, “Guno Kukan (1555)”, “Tenka Fukutake (1575)”, “Honnoji Enjou (1582)” and “Sekigahara (1600)”. The subordinate military commander is able to prepare his/her strength within the range of wisdom given by the daimyo. Player can continue the game even if surrender to another daimyo, it is possible to regain independence by causing a rebellion (some daimyo start from the surrender daimyo).

Approximately 1,200 warlords have appeared, and each warlord is given face graphics and family crests. For the opening and ending demos, live-action movies that take advantage of the large capacity of the Mega CD are used. People from the pre- and mid-Edo era are followed, and even Kira Uenosuke, Asano Uchizo head, Kai Harada and Shiraishi Arai appear. However, there are only old works, and there are mistakes, such as Yoshikawa Mikawa’s Uenosuke appearing in Tosa.
