Yōjū Senki or “The Beast Chronicle” series is an adult game released by D.O. starting from 1993. It consists of three parts and falls under the genre of war simulation. Despite being an adult game, it is known for its robust and serious storyline. Initially released for PC-9801 and FM-TOWNS in 1993, it was later ported to Windows in 1997. Furthermore, a remake version with refreshed graphics and systems has been released since 2006.

The story is set in a devastated world following the final nuclear war, known as “The Third.” In this harsh environment striving for recovery, monstrous creatures called “Beasts” appear. These creatures, born from leaked bioweapon genes and residual radiation, capture humans to use as hosts for their reproduction, becoming humanity’s archenemies.
In A.D. 2048, as the Beasts approach the major stronghold of Sophia Polis, humanity deploys its last resort: female soldiers based on humans called “Bio Soldiers.” They form the Anti Strange beast Special Police (ASSP) to confront and combat the Beasts.
